Fuel Tank Temperature Sensor (CNG): Service and Repair

Removal:
1. Perform the pressure relief fuel line venting procedure.
2. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
3. Raise and support the vehicle.

Fuel Tank Temperature Sensor:

4. Remove the tank temperature sensor.
1. Disconnect the tank temperature sensor electrical connector.
2. Remove the tank temperature sensor.

Installation:

Note: Replace the tank temperature sensor O-ring seal.

Note: Lubricate the tank temperature sensor O-ring seal with 5W30 engine oil meeting Ford specification ESE-M2C153-E or equivalent prior to installation, to help seal and ease the installation.

Fuel Tank Temperature Sensor Torques:

1. Follow the removal procedure in reverse order.
