Flow of Diagnosis

1. Verify the customer concern.
2. Visually inspect for obvious signs of mechanical and electrical damage using the following chart.

VISUAL INSPECTION CHART

Mechanical
- Window alignment
- Window mounting (regulator and bracket)
- Window frame interference

Electrical
- Circuit breaker:
- Power Wind (30A)
- Circuit(s)
- Switch(es)
- Fuse(s):
- METER(10A)
- METER(15A) (wagon only)
- DEFOG (30A)
- Circuit
- DEFOG relay
- Heated back window grid
- Interior relay panel

3. With key ON, operate all the window regulator control switches and listen to the window regulator electric drive for any mechanical concerns.
4. If the concern is not visually evident, verify the symptom and Symptom Related Diagnostic Procedures
