Quarter Window Glass: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Remove the quarter window trim panel.







2. Remove the nuts.
3. Remove the [1][2]quarter window glass.
- Use a razor blade knife to cut the foam core butyl and push out the [1][2]quarter window glass.

NOTE: If reinstalling the [1][2]quarter window glass , thoroughly remove the foam core butyl using an alcohol-free cleaner.

4. Apply Urethane Metal Primer meeting Ford specification WSB-M2G234-C to any exposed metal on the pinch weld. Allow ten minutes drying time.

INSTALLATION







1. Attach Norton Foam Sealants 565 Black Foam Tape or equivalent meeting Ford specification ESB-M3G77-A to the inside of the [1][2]quarter window glass so that it overlaps at the bottom.







2. Align the [1][2]quarter window glass using the studs and firmly press into place on the pinch weld. Tighten the quarter window glass nuts to specification.
