Fuel Pressure Control Module: Description and Operation
The Fuel Delivery Module
(FDM) contains two valves. The valve on the outlet of the FDM maintains pressure in the fuel system after the vehicle is shut of preventing long cranking times during hot-starting conditions. The Internal relief valve provides overpressure protection in the event that the fuel system flow becomes restricted or blocked.
