EGR Valve: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

1. Disconnect the EGR valve vacuum hose.

2. Remove the (A) nut and the (B) brake booster tube bracket.

3. Disconnect the EGR valve-to-exhaust manifold tube upper fitting.

4. Remove the EGR valve.
1 Remove the bolts.
2 Remove the EGR valve and the EGR valve gasket. Discard the EGR valve gasket.

INSTALLATION
1. Follow the removal procedure in reverse order.

NOTE: Install a new EGR valve gasket.
