Electronic Door Lock Control System

ELECTRONIC DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM
The electronic door lock control system has two main components:
- Remote keyless entry module located on the LH side of the luggage compartment.
- Four-button (hand held) keyless entry remote transmitter.

The remote keyless entry module performs the following functions:
- Unlocks driver door
- Unlocks both doors
- Unlocks luggage compartment door
- Locks both doors
- Arms and disarms anti-theft alarm system (if equipped)
- Turns on interior lamps when door handle is lifted
- Turns on interior lamps when using the keyless entry remote transmitter
- Activates and deactivates security feature which sounds horn and flashes park lamps
- Activates battery saver feature which removes power from convenience lamps and interior lamps 45 minutes after last input to the remote keyless entry module.

Inputs and Outputs
The remote keyless entry module receives inputs from the following:
- Ignition switch
- Program connector
- Key less entry remote transmitter
- Door lock switch
- Door open warning lamp switch
- Interior lamp switch

The remote keyless entry module distributes outputs to the following:
- Engine compartment lamp and vanity mirror lamp
- Power door lock actuator
- Door lock switch
- Interior lamp
- Horn
- Parking lamp
- Anti-theft alarm control (if equipped)
