Air Injection Pump: Service and Repair

1. Raise vehicle on hoist.
2. Disconnect secondary air injection pump outlet hose from secondary air injection pump outlet connector.
3. Remove secondary air injection pump inlet hose retainer and hose from RH front fender apron.
4. Remove secondary air injection pump retainer bolts and secondary air injection pump (AIR pump) from RH front fender apron.
5. Disconnect electrical connector from secondary air injection pump (AIR pump).
6. Follow removal procedure in reverse order. Tighten retaining bolts to 9-12 Nm (80-106 lb-in).
