Daytime Running Lamp Control Unit: Service and Repair






REMOVAL
1. Remove screws retaining front side of front fender splash shield.

WARNING: DAYTIME RUNNING LAMPS CONTROL GETS VERY HOT DURING OPERATION. BE SURE DAYTIME RUNNING LAMPS CONTROL HAS COOLED BEFORE HANDLING IT OR PERSONAL INJURY MAY OCCUR.

2. Disconnect daytime running lamps control electrical connector.
3. Remove screw retaining daytime running lamps control to front fender apron and remove daytime running lamps control.

INSTALLATION
1. Follow removal procedure in reverse order.
2. Tighten screws to 2-3 Nm (18-26 lb-in).
