Heater Core: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Remove the instrument panel.Service and Repair
2. Remove the evaporator case.Service and Repair
3. Drain the radiator. Service and Repair







4. Disconnect the heater hoses from the heater core.







5. Remove the nuts and the plenum chamber.







6. Remove the screws and remove the heater core cover.







7. Remove the heater core.












INSTALLATION
1. Follow the removal procedure in reverse order.
- Lubricate the hoses and fittings with Ford Rubber Suspension Insulator Lube E25Y-19553-A or equivalent meeting Ford specification ESF-M99B112-A.

NOTE: Be sure to replace the oval foam seal around the heater core inlet and outlet tubes.
