Front Pivot Arm

REMOVAL







1. Raise arm away from back window glass, and insert a 1.6 mm (0.062-inch) pin in holes in retainer arm.

CAUTION: To prevent glass or paint damage, do not pry rear wiper mounting arm and pivot shaft from rear wiper pivot arm with metal or sharp tool.

2. Lower arm toward glass to relieve arm spring tension.
3. Remove arm from pivot shaft.







INSTALLATION
1. To install, push main arm head over pivot shaft. Make sure pivot shaft is in park, and that blade assembly dimension is positioned correctly.
2. Hold arm head on pivot shaft while raising blade end of wiper arm and remove 1.6 mm (0.062-inch) pin. Then lower blade to glass.
3. Check rear wiper operation.
