Oil Level Sensor: Service and Repair
REMOVAL 1.
Raise vehicle on hoist.
2.
Drain engine crankcase.
3.
Disconnect wiring connector from low oil level sensor.
4.
Remove low oil level sensor from oil pan and discard low oil level sensor washer.
INSTALLATION 1.
Follow removal procedure in reverse order.
2.
Tighten low oil level sensor to
27-41 Nm (20-30 ft. lbs.). 3.
Fill crankcase with correct viscosity of clean engine oil.
