Power Seat Switch: Service and Repair






REMOVAL
1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove bolts retaining rear part of side cover to seat on inboard side.
3. Pry front corner of side cover free from seat cushion frame.
4. Grasp side cover at its center and lift upward to release integral retaining tang.
5. Slide side cover rearward to release integral retaining tang from cushion frame.
6. Slide side cover forward to remove from seat.
7. Disconnect wire harness from seat control switch.
8. Disconnect vacuum hose.
9. Remove seat control switch from side cover.

INSTALLATION
1. Follow removal procedure in reverse order.
2. Tighten retaining bolt at rear corner of side cover to 2-5 Nm (18-44 Lb-In).
