With A/C (Front)






REMOVAL
1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Drain engine coolant system.
3. Remove A/C air inlet duct.
4. Disconnect heater water hoses from heater core inlet and outlet tubes in the engine compartment.
5. Remove ground strap attachment (if present) from heater core tube.
6. Remove heater outlet floor duct.
7. Remove three screws and nut retaining evaporator housing support bracket and remove bracket.
8. Disconnect vacuum hose harness from A/C evaporator housing and position aside.
9. Pull out and remove instrument panel ash receptacle by depressing service lever and disconnecting wiring harness.
10. Remove six screws retaining heater housing core plate. Remove heater housing core plate and heater core as an assembly.
11. Separate heater core and heater housing core plate.

INSTALLATION
1. Follow removal procedure in reverse order.
