Compressor

REMOVAL
1. Reclaim the refrigerant.
2. Raise and support the vehicle.







3. Remove the splash shield.







4. Remove the right-hand front wheel housing liner (two-part).







5. Loosen the drive belt and remove it.







6. Remove the Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S).







7. Remove the coolant tube bracket.







8. Remove the heat shield from air conditioning compressor.







9. Remove the air conditioning compressor.
^ Remove the four bolts (two shown).
^ Remove the line connection.

NOTE: Seal the line and the connection with plugs.







10. Disconnect the air conditioning compressor electrical connector.
^ Remove the A/C compressor.


INSTALLATION

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
^ Check A/C system for normal operation.

NOTE: Replace the O-rings and coat them with refrigerant oil.
