Air Temperature Sensor ( Ambient / Intake ): Service and Repair

NOTE: The Air Temperature Sensor is part of the Mass Air Flow Sensor.

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.

NOTE: The sensing elements located inside the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor can be damaged by touching.

2. Remove the air cleaner assembly.







3. Separate the two halves of the air cleaner housing.







4. Disconnect the wiring connector from housing.







5. Remove the bolts, mounting plate and the MAF sensor.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure
