Crankshaft Bearings Tightening Procedures Tighten the main bearing cap bolts in the sequence shown in two stages.

Stage 1: Tighten the bolts to
102 Nm (76 lb-ft). -
Stage 2: Tighten the bolts to
129 Nm (96 lb-ft).
