Rotary Control Switch

Four-wheel drive mode is selected using a rotary switch located on the instrument panel, near the radio.
The switch consists of a knob with a night time illuminated pointer.

Removal





1. Remove the radio, using the Radio Removal Tool.





2. Disconnect the antenna lead and the wire harness at the back of the radio harness.





3. Remove the two screws retaining the trim panel.





4. Remove the trim panel.





5. Disconnect the cigar lighter positive and ground leads.





6. Disconnect the switch connector.





7. Remove the two screws retaining the switch, and remove the switch.


Installation
1. Follow the removal procedure in reverse order.
