Front

Wheel Speed Sensor, Front (Part 1 Of 2):








Removal
1. Disconnect sensor connector located in the engine compartment.
2. Raise vehicle on a hoist.
3. Remove plastic push studs to loosen front fender splash shield in wheel well.
4. Disengage sensor wire grommets at rail bracket and from retainer on shock absorber just above front wheel knuckle.
5. Loosen sensor retaining bolt and remove front brake anti-lock sensor assembly from front wheel knuckle.

Installation
1. Align front brake anti-lock sensor with its mounting holes on front wheel knuckle. Tighten retaining bolt to 10.2 - 13.8 Nm (91 - 122 inch lbs.).
2. Install grommets at rail bracket and the retainer at shock absorber.
3. Connect sensor connector to wiring harness in wheel opening at frame rail.
