Attachment III - Technical Information

SERVICE PROCEDURE





1. Check Powertrain Control Module (PCM) calibration level. Select appropriate update calibration from table.

2. Reflash Powertrain Control Module (PCM) using one of the following two (2) methods:

^ Service Bay Diagnostic System (SBDS).

^ Service Bay Technical System (SBTS) and the New Generation STAR (NGS) Tester with Rotunda flash cable (007-00531) and Rotunda flash card (007-00532).





3. Obtain and prepare the Authorized Modifications Label. Write the modification completed, your P and A Code, date of repair and the recall program type and program number as shown.

4. Apply label to clear area of the upper radiator support.

5. Provide California owners with "Emissions Recall-Proof of Correction" Certificates.
