Cruise Control Servo: Service and Repair

REMOVAL






1. Remove the intake air resonator.







2. Disconnect the actuating cable from the throttle body cam.







3. Remove the throttle cable from the throttle bracket.
1 Remove the cable from the throttle bracket.
2 Push the retaining clip from the throttle bracket and pull the cable out.







4. Detach the speed control cable from the spark plug cover.







5. Disconnect the actuator electrical connector.







6. Remove the actuator retaining bolt.







7. Detach the actuator.







8. Remove the cable cap from the actuator.
1 Depress and hold the locking clip.
2 Turn the cap counterclockwise.







9. Remove the cable from the actuator pulley.
1 Release the cable locking spring.
2 Push the cable end out of the pulley slot.

INSTALLATION







1. To Install, reverse the removal procedure.
