Ignition Cable: Service and Repair

REMOVAL







1. Detach the throttle cable and the speed control cable from the spark plug cover.







2. Disconnect the four spark plug wires from the ignition coil.







3. Remove the variable camshaft timing solenoid electrical connector grommet from the spark plug cover.







4. Disconnect the variable camshaft timing solenoid electrical connector.







5. Remove the spark plug wire cover bolts and remove the spark plug cover.







6. Disconnect the spark plug wires from the spark plugs.
7. Remove the spark plug wires.


INSTALLATION







1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
