Air Temperature Sensor ( Ambient / Intake ): Service and Repair

REMOVAL:
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. On vehicles equipped with dual batteries, refer to Battery.

CAUTION: Always disconnect the battery ground cable prior to working on the electronic engine controls.







2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor.







3. Rotate the 1/4 turn counterclockwise and pull outward.

INSTALLATION:
1. Follow the removal procedure in reverse order.

NOTE: On vehicles equipped with dual batteries, refer to Battery reconnect procedure.
