Coolant Temperature Sensor/Switch (For Computer): Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Position the ignition switch in the off position.

CAUTION: Make sure the ignition switch is in off position prior to working on the electronic engine controls.

2. Remove the air cleaner assembly. For additional information, refer to Fuel Delivery and Air Induction.
3. Partially drain the cooling system. For additional information, refer to Cooling System.







4. Disconnect the electrical connector. Remove the water temperature indicator sender unit from the water pump housing.

INSTALLATION







1. Follow the removal procedure in reverse order.
