Fuel Pressure Regulator: Service and Repair
REMOVAL
1. Remove the fuel pressure regulator.
1 Remove the Torx(R) screws.
2 Remove the cap.
3 Remove O-ring.
4 Remove the spring.
5 Remove the poppet valve and O-ring.
6 Remove the valve seat.
7 Remove O-ring
WARNING: CLEAN ALL FUEL RESIDUE FROM THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT. FAILURE TO DO SO CAN CAUSE PERSONAL INJURY OR DAMAGE TO THE VEHICLE.
2. Thoroughly clean the fuel pressure regulator bore in the fuel filter/water separator.
INSTALLATION
1. Follow the removal procedure in reverse order.
