Intake Air Heater: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Open the hood.
2. Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to Battery.

3. Remove the intake air heater element.
1 Remove the nut.
2 Label and disconnect the electrical lead.
3 Remove the insulator.
4 Label and disconnect the electrical lead.
5 Remove the intake air heater element and copper washer.

INSTALLATION

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
