Tubes

Removal

Note: To remove the production transmission fluid cooler tubes on vehicles equipped with the 5.4L engine, it will be necessary to cut the tubes.

1. Raise and support the vehicle.





2. Remove the front skid plate if equipped.
1. Remove the bolts.
2. Remove the front skid plate.





3. Remove the lower air deflector.
1. Remove the bolts.
2. Remove the lower air dam.





4. Remove the fluid cooler tubes.





5. Remove the cooler tube bracket.








6. Remove the fluid cooler tubes.
7. Remove the fluid cooler tubes.

Installation
1. Position the fluid cooler tubes.








2. Install the fluid cooler lines.





3. Install the fluid cooler tube bracket.





4. Install the fluid cooler tubes.





5. Install the lower air deflector.
1. Position the deflector.
2. Install the bolts.





6. Install the front skid plate.
- Install the bolts.

7. Note: If equipped with air suspension, reactivate the system by turning on the air suspension switch.

Lower the vehicle.
8. Fill transmission fluid to the proper level and inspect for leaks.
