Refrigerant Pressure Sensor / Switch: Service and Repair

REMOVAL







1. Remove the activated charcoal canister cleaning solenoid valve (if equipped). For additional information, refer to Evaporative Emissions System.
- Remove two bolts and lay the solenoid valve to one side.

NOTE: Observe the "Health and Safety Rules".







2. Disconnect the low pressure switch connector.

A/C Low Pressure Switch Connector:

3. Bypass the plug contacts for the air conditioning low pressure switch.
- Start the engine and switch on the air conditioning.
- Let the engine idle for 30 seconds.
- Switch off the engine.

CAUTION:
Make sure that the air conditioning system is filled, otherwise it will be irreparably damaged.






4. Remove the air conditioning low pressure switch.

INSTALLATION
1. Refit the components in reverse order.
2. Check the operation of the air conditioning system.
