EGR Valve: Service and Repair
REMOVAL 1.
Remove the air cleaner outlet tube.
2.
Detach the
Exhaust Gas Recirculation (
EGR) tube.
3.
Disconnect the
EGR vacuum tube.
4.
Remove the
EGR valve.
5.
Remove and discard the EGR valve gasket.
INSTALLATION 1.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
NOTE: ^
To aid installation loosen the
EGR tube bolts at the exhaust manifold.

Install a new EGR valve gasket.
