Accumulator HVAC: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Perform the Refrigerant Discharging and Recovery Procedure.







2.Disconnect the A/C cycling switch connector.







3. Remove the cycling switch.







4. Disconnect the suction line.







5. Remove the clamp nut.







6. Disconnect the accumulator from the evaporator.







7. Remove the accumulator.

INSTALLATION







1 .To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Lubricate the O-ring seal with PAG Compressor Oil, YN-12c, F7AZ-19589-DA or equivalent meeting Ford specification WSH-M1C231-B.
