REMOVAL







1. Disconnect the accelerator cable from the accelerator pedal.
1 Position the accelerator pedal to relieve tension on the accelerator cable.
2 Depress the tabs on the accelerator pedal retaining pin and disconnect the cable.







2. Remove the accelerator cable splash shield.
1 Remove the pin-type retainers.
2 Remove the splash shield.







3. Disconnect the accelerator cable.
1 Move the throttle cam to Wide Open Throttle (WOT).
2 Remove the accelerator cable slug from the throttle cam.
3 Depress the accelerator cable tabs and remove the accelerator cable from the accelerator cable bracket.







4. Remove the accelerator cable grommet from the bulkhead.
^ Remove the accelerator cable.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
