General Torque Specifications

a Refer to the applicable service and repair procedure for available torque specification and/or sequence.

(1) Tighten in two stages:
^ Tighten to 15 Nm (11 lb-ft)
^ Tighten to 32 Nm (24 lb-in)

(2) Tighten in two stages:
^ Tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in)
^ Tighten to 32 Nm (24 lb-ft)

(3) Tighten in sequence in two stages:
^ Tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in)
^ Tighten to 22 Nm (16 lb-ft)

(4) Tighten in sequence in five stages:
^ Tighten to 50 Nm (37 lb-ft)
^ Loosen the bolts one full turn
^ Tighten to 30 Nm (22 lb-ft)
^ Rotate an additional 85-95 degrees.
^ Rotate an additional 85-95 degrees.

(5) Tighten in four stages:
^ Tighten the four corner bolts to 12 Nm (9 lb-ft)
^ Tighten the remaining bolts to 12 Nm (9 lb-ft)
^ Loosen all the bolts one turn
^ Tighten all the bolts 12 Nm (9 lb-ft)

(6) Advance half-turn after gasket contacts sealing surface.
