Auxiliary Climate Control

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the battery. For additional information, refer to Battery.
2. Perform the Refrigerant Discharging and Recovery Procedure. Refrigerant Discharging and Recovery procedure
3. Remove the suction accumulator/drier. For additional information, refer to Accumulator, Air Conditioning.
4. Raise and support the vehicle. For additional information, refer to Maintenance/Service and Repair.







5. Disconnect the auxiliary A/C line.
^ Disconnect the peanut fitting.







6. Disconnect the condenser to evaporator line spring lock coupling from the A/C evaporator core.







7. Disconnect the line at the condenser.
1 Remove the nut.
2 Separate the fitting.







8. Remove the bolt.

INSTALLATION












1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
^ Lubricate the O-ring seal with PAG Compressor Oil YN-12-C, F7AZ-19589-DA or equivalent meeting Ford specification WSH-M1C231-B.
