Catalytic Converter: Service and Repair
Removal 1.
Remove the
muffler assembly.
2.
Disconnect the heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) connectors.
3.
Remove the bolts.
4.
Remove the bolts and nuts.
5.
Remove the LH three way catalytic converter (TWC).
6.
Remove the bolts.
7.
Twist and remove the RH TWC.
Installation 1.
Note: Before installing the TWCs, install new gaskets.
Follow the removal procedure in reverse order.
