EGR Valve: Service and Repair
REMOVAL 1.
Disconnect the
EGR valve vacuum connection.
2.
Disconnect the
EGR tube upper fitting.
3.
Remove the
EGR valve bolts and the EGR valve.
INSTALLATION 1.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Carefully clean all sealing surfaces and install a new EGR valve gasket.
NOTE: The
EGR valve sealing surfaces are soft metals.
