SPECIAL TOOL(S)

REMOVAL

NOTE: The following removal and installation procedure applies to all audio units.

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.







2. Remove the audio unit from the instrument panel.
1 Use the special tool to release the audio unit retaining clips.
2 Apply outward pressure on the special tool while pulling the audio unit away from the instrument panel.
3 Remove the audio unit.
^ Disconnect the audio unit electrical connectors.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
