Trunk / Liftgate Handle: Service and Repair

LIFTGATE RELEASE HANDLE - FINISH PANEL

REMOVAL
1. Remove the liftgate trim panel.







2. Remove the six nuts.







3. Release the lock cylinder rod.







4. Release the liftgate release handle actuating rod.
1 Open the locking clip.
2 Release the rod.

5. Remove the exterior liftgate release handle and finish panel.







6. Remove the liftgate lock cylinder.
1 Remove the locking clip.
2 Remove the lock cylinder.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

NOTE: Transfer parts as necessary.
