Condenser To Evaporator Line - With Auxiliary Climate Control




REMOVAL







1. Recover the refrigerant. Refer to: Heating and Air Conditioning, Service and Repair, Refrigerant Discharging and Recovery Procedure, Refrigerant Discharging and Recovery Procedure

2. Remove the tube clamp.







3. Disconnect the auxiliary line fitting.







4. Disconnect the condenser to evaporator line from the A/C evaporator core.







5. Remove the eight pin-type retainers and the sight shield.







6. Disconnect the condenser-to-evaporator line from the A/C condenser core and remove the line.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
^ Lubricate the O-ring seals with PAG Refrigerant Compressor Oil (R-134a Systems) F7AZ-19589-DA (Motorcraft YN-12-C) or equivalent meeting Ford specification WSH-M1C231-B.
