Seat Latch: Service and Repair

SEAT LATCH - 40/20/40 BENCH, SECOND ROW

Removal and Installation

NOTE: 40 percent seat shown, 20 percent seat is similar.

1. Remove the seat from the vehicle.
2. Remove the seat backrest.







3. Remove the two, latch-to-seat frame bolts. (Outboard side is shown, the inboard side backrest pivot is similar.)
4. Remove the latch.







5. NOTE: Lock the latches to the floor locking pins prior to tightening the latch to seat frame bolts. This will aid in aligning the latches.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
