EGR Tube: Service and Repair

EXHAUST MANIFOLD TO EXHAUST GAS RECIRCULATION (EGR) VALVE TUBE

Removal and Installation
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.







2. Remove the engine appearance cover.







3. Remove the accelerator return spring.







4. Detach the accelerator and speed control cables.







5. Remove the two bolts and remove the engine appearance cover bracket.







6. Remove the brake booster vacuum tube retaining bolt and disconnect the vacuum tube and vacuum hose.







7. Disconnect the vacuum hose.







8. Disconnect the differential pressure feedback EGR sensor electrical connector.







9. Remove the differential pressure feedback EGR sensor from the EGR tube.







10. Disconnect the EGR tube upper fitting.







11. Disconnect the EGR lower tube fitting and remove the EGR tube.
12. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
