WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR

Removal and Installation

CAUTION: The internal permanent magnets used in the windshield wiper motor are made of a glass-like material. To avoid damaging the magnets, do not strike the motor with a hammer or any other object.

NOTE: The windshield wiper motor is not a repairable item.

1. Remove the wiper pivot arm.
2. Remove the cowl grille.







3. Disconnect the electrical connector, unclip the wiring harness from the wiper arm and position it aside.







4. Remove the bolt.







5. Remove the bolt.







6. Remove the bolt and the windshield wiper motor assembly.







7. Remove the bolt and the mounting arm from the wiper motor.







8. Remove the bolts and the windshield wiper motor.
9. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
