Cruise Control Servo: Service and Repair

REMOVAL







1. Remove the nut, bolt and the accelerator control splash shield.







2. Disconnect the speed control cable end from the throttle nail head.







3. Remove the speed control servo from the inner fender.
1 Disconnect the electrical connector.
2 Remove the speed control servo bracket mounting bolts.







4. Depress the locking tab and rotate the speed control cable cap to remove.







5. Disconnect the speed control core wire end from the speed control servo pulley and remove the speed control servo.
1 Gently push the retaining spring.
2 Disconnect the speed control cable slug from the speed control servo pulley.







6. Remove the speed control servo mounting bolts and separate the bracket from the servo.

INSTALLATION







1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

NOTE: Make sure the rubber seal is fully seated onto the speed control cable cap.
