4X4 MANUAL TRANSMISSION - SHUDDER DURING
2ND AND 3RD GEAR ACCELERATION

2002 Explorer

ISSUE

Some 2002 4X4 Explorer 4 door with manual transmissions, may exhibit a shudder/vibration when accelerating in 2nd and 3rd gear. The condition occurs more frequently when accelerating at higher throttle positions and/or on a grade.

ACTION





To service, replace the 4X4 control module. Refer to the Part Application Chart.
