Liftgate Window Glass Hinge

LIFTGATE WINDOW GLASS HINGE

Removal and Installation
1. Open the liftgate window glass.







2. Disconnect and remove the two liftgate window glass struts.
3. Close the liftgate window glass, making sure the striker is engaged into the latch.
4. Open the liftgate.







5. Position the upper part of the liftgate trim panel away from the liftgate.







6. NOTE: If installing two new hinges, do one hinge at a time.

Remove the liftgate window glass hinge-to-body nut.







7. Remove the liftgate window glass hinge-to-glass bolt.







8. Remove the liftgate window glass hinge.
9. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- When installing the hinge, apply Threadlock 262 into the hinge-to-glass bolt hole, making sure that threadlock is on the threads.
