Output Shaft Speed (OSS) Sensor - Rear

Removal and Installation
1. With the vehicle in the NEUTRAL position, raise and support vehicle.





2. Remove the heat shield.





3. Disconnect the electrical connector.





4. Remove the rear output shaft speed sensor wires from the electrical shift motor connector.
1 Remove the connector interlock.
2 Remove the wires.
Use the proper electrical connector pin remover.





5. Remove the bolt and the sensor.





6. CAUTION: Make sure the sensor seats flat against the boss.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
