Heavy Duty Riverter:

SPECIAL TOOL(S)

REMOVAL
1. Remove the door speaker.






2. Remove the screws and the trim panel brace.
3. Remove the rear door watershield.
4. Lower the window glass to access the window glass to regulator nuts.






5. Remove the window glass to regulator nuts.






6. Raise the window glass to the closed position.






7. Disconnect the rear door window regulator motor electrical connector.






8. Remove the window regulator equalizer nuts.






9. Drill out the rivets and remove the rear door window regulator.






10. CAUTION: Prior to motor removal, make sure the regulator arms are in a fixed position to prevent counterbalance spring unwind.

Remove the bolts and the rear door window regulator motor.

INSTALLATION

1. NOTE: Use the special tool to install rivets.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
^ Cycle the window glass to make sure the gears engage.
