Power Locks: Testing and Inspection

NOTE:
^ Make sure that the battery is fully charged before starting electrical diagnosis.
^ Prior to carrying out the GEM Self - Test, make sure that the doors are open.

1. Verify the customer concern by operating the system.

2. Visually inspect for obvious signs of mechanical and electrical damage.
3. If an obvious cause for an observed or reported concern is found, correct the cause (if possible) before proceeding to the next step.
4. If concern is not visually evident, verify the symptom and refer to a diagnostic tool.
