Compressor Clutch: Adjustments

1. Check the air gap A between the drive plate and the pulley at 60 degrees intervals around the circumference. For additional information, refer to Specifications.

1. Belt pulley
2. Spacer washer
3. Drive plate

2. If the air gap A is outside the tolerance range, if necessary detach the air conditioning compressor.
- Tie up the compressor with wire if necessary.

NOTE: The refrigerant circuit can remain closed if possible.







3. Detach the drive plate.
4. Correct air gap A as necessary using spacer washers.
5. Attach the drive plate.
6. Check air gap A as in step 1. Repeat steps 3-6 if necessary.
7. Install the air conditioning compressor.
