Tailgate Latch Remote Control

REMOVAL







1. Remove the screws and the tailgate access cover.







2. Disconnect the tailgate latch release links from the tailgate latch remote control.
1 Open the tailgate latch rod retainers.
2 Disconnect the tailgate latch release links from the tailgate latch remote control.







3. Remove the tailgate latch remote control nuts.
4. Remove the tailgate latch remote control.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

NOTE: Prior to installation, remove the slack in the tailgate latch release links by pulling the tailgate latch release links to the center of the tailgate. Close the plastic clip over the thread of the tailgate latch release links.
