Compass Zone

1. Determine which magnetic zone you are in for your geographic location.

NOTE: The compass zone setting is preset to Zone 8.

2. Turn the ignition key to the ON position.
3. Enter the compass zone setting mode by pressing and holding the left button 3-5 seconds until a number appears in the display. Release the left button. Change the compass zone by toggling the left button slowly to cycle through the zone settings until you reach the zone setting for your geographic location.
4. Once you have selected the correct zone setting, wait for the compass display to return to either the letter C display or a direction heading.
5. Release the switch to exit the zone setting mode and lock in your individual zone.
