Output Shaft Speed (OSS) Sensor

Removal and Installation
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Raise the vehicle on a hoist.





3. NOTE: Support the exhaust with mechanic wire.

Remove the nuts and disconnect the three-way catalytic converter from the dual converter Y-pipe.





4. Disconnect the output shaft speed (OSS) sensor connector.





5. Remove the output shaft speed (OSS) sensor cover.
1. Remove the connector.
2. Remove the bolt.
3. Remove the cover.





6. Remove the output shaft speed (OSS) sensor.





7. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
